SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Gov. J.B. Pritzker has announced a statewide school closure to minimize the spread of COVID-19 that will last two weeks.
It will run March 17-30th.
The state will also implement additional economic measures to reduce the burden on Illinois families.
As of now, daycare centers will remain open and will follow strict health and safety guidance.
