CHILLICOTHE, Ill. – A Memorial Day weekend tradition in central Illinois is missing this year, but it will not be gone for long.
The three-day music festival Summer Camp returns to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe in May of 2026 for its 25th edition.
In March, organizers cited factors such as artist conflicts and the state of the music industry for this year’s cancellation. But Promoter Jack Manis announced its return on WMBD’s “The Phil Luciano Show” on Friday.
“The bottom line is we’re going to come back stronger than ever,” Manis said.
In 2024, the festival was rebranded as Solshine Reverie. This year’s edition was planned for the Peoria Riverfront before its cancellation.
In a Facebook post, Summer Camp announced presale tickets for a three-day pass to next year’s festival will go on sale Monday.
