URBANDALE, Ia. – There have now been 39 consecutive Powerball drawings without a grand prize winner.
No ticket sold matched the six numbers drawn Saturday night, so the jackpot is now $1.1 billion for Monday. It’s the game’s fifth largest prize ever.
The estimated cash value is $498.4 million.
Saturday’s numbers were: 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and Powerball 17.
Nine tickets, including one in Illinois, matched the five numbers without the Powerball for a $1 million prize.
Even though the Powerball jackpot rolled, participating lotteries are reminding players to check their tickets to see if they won a lower-tier cash prize.
Three tickets matched the five numbers without the Powerball and increased the $1 million prize to $2 million, because the tickets included the Power Play option for $1 more. The $2 million winning tickets were sold in Colorado, Indiana and New Hampshire.
There were also 115 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and 27 tickets that won $150,000 prizes.
To date, the longest Powerball jackpot run has 42 consecutive drawings, which was set April 6, 2024, with a $1.326 billion jackpot winner in Oregon.
Powerball drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. CT from the Florida Lottery Studio in Tallahassee, Florida. Powerball drawings are also live streamed HERE.
In Illinois, sales for Powerball tickets close at 9 p.m. the night of the drawing.
