PEORIA, Ill. – A fire at a South Peoria house Monday morning was reportedly intentionally set.
Peoria Fire says crews arrived at around 11:00 A.M. to the one-story house at Ann and Laramie, eventually finding flames in a bedroom.
The fire was under control after about ten minutes before it could spread to the rest of the house, with crews remaining for around an hour to check for hotspots and ventilate the house.
Two adults and two children were in the house at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported. Peoria Fire says the residents were able to remain in the house.
Damage is estimated at around $20,000.
