PEKIN, Ill. – A teenage girl suspected in Tazewell County of hiring other teens to kill her parents in October of 2021 is now being charged as an adult.
Dahlia Bolin, now 16, is charged with First-Degree Murder and Attempted First-Degree Murder.
Sage Raeber, Nathaniel Maloney, and Adree Street all face murder charges in adult court as well.
25 news reports prosecutors believe Dahlia Bolin first told police she was in a Mackinaw home’s basement when she heard shots, but has since changed her story.
Rebecca Bolin died, but Douglas Bolin survived, and reportedly posted Dahlia’s bond to get her out of jail.
She’s scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing April 27th.
