SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Once again, no winner in the multi-state Powerball lottery drawing.
No one matched all five numbers and the red Powerball number in the $660 million Christmas night drawing, though lottery officials say three people nationwide each won $1 million after matching just the five white ball numbers.
The winning numbers were 5, 12, 20, 24, and 29, with the red Powerball number of 4.
The jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing now goes up to $685 million.
Meanwhile, the other multi-state lottery game, Mega Millions, draws Tuesday night. That jackpot sits at $73 million.
