PEORIA, Ill. – Severe storms are a possibility for Central Illinois by midday Friday.
25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins is tracking scattered strong to severe storms that are expected to reach the area after 10 a.m. through mid afternoon on Friday.
“Localized damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats. The tornado threat is low, but not zero,” Collins says.
We’ll get a break from the storms on Saturday, but severe weather is possible again on Sunday, Collins adds.
