PEORIA, Ill. – Police are looking for someone who allegedly robbed a Peoria garbage truck driver at gunpoint.
Officers were called to the area of S. Western and W. Lincoln Avenues just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The truck driver said the suspect pulled him out at gunpoint, physically assaulted him after taking his wallet, then ran off.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police searched the area but did not find the suspect.
