PEORIA, Ill. – Three males have been arrested in connection to a Thursday afternoon shooting near the former Quest Charter Middle School in Peoria.
Peoria Police say five people were detained Thursday for questioning.
The shooting occurred in the area of Gift and Bootz just before 1:00 P.M. and left a 19-year-old male with serious injuries.
A search of a home in the area of Hanssler and North Street during the investigation allegedly located three handguns.
A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were then arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Handgun Under 21, with the 15-year-old additionally charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Graham was taken to the Peoria County Jail, and the teenagers to the Juvenile Detention Center.
