PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria woman was shot Sunday afternoon on N. Lehman Road at the Parkwood Commons Apartments.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers arrived just before 4 p.m., finding a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Peoria Police have no suspects and are still investigating the incident.
