SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Governor J.B. Pritzker is taking a step away from the public eye for the week.
Communications Deputy Chief of Staff Matt Hill says Pritzker completed a routine out-patient urology procedure on Friday.
Hill says Pritzker will continue to fulfill his duties, but is pausing public events while resting.
Pritzker is campaigning for a third term as governor this year against Republican challenger Darren Bailey.
