PEORIA, Ill. – A violent domestic dispute in Peoria over the weekend led to a woman’s arrest.
Peoria Police say it happened Sunday afternoon on Sleepy Hollow Road. A man was stabbed in the stomach during an argument with a woman. He was taken to a hospital, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
The suspect, 23-year-old Makiah Baker, took off after the stabbing. PPD found her later that night and arrested her.
Baker is now in the Peoria County Jail charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery, and four counts of Criminal Damage to Property.
