PEORIA, Ill. – River City Pride Fest is back on the Peoria Riverfront this weekend.
Peoria Pride’s Todd Northcutt says with over 7,500 people expected, Peoria Park District has added new safety protocols this year.
“Only clear bags, and the City has implemented metal detectors to get through (the gate). We’re hoping it goes smoothly, but just in case people don’t get that memo…we are selling clear bags at check in where you buy your tickets,” Northcutt says.
Saturday’s River City Pride Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and will feature 130 vendors, food trucks and entertainment all day.
Pre-sale tickets are available through Friday for $5.00, admission is $10.00 at the door. River City Pride Fest is a family friendly event.
