PEORIA, Ill. – Oak Street in downtown Peoria is blocked to traffic in both directions between SW Jefferson Avenue and SW Adams Street due to a water main break and pavement damage in front of Dozer Park.
Drivers should be aware of standing water on northbound Jefferson Avenue. The water main break occurred Thursday night.
There’s no time frame for when the main will be repaired, and the roads will be reopened.
