PEKIN, Ill. – An investigation is underway in Pekin after a death at McNaughton Park.
Pekin Park District Police say officers responded to a medical emergency at around 7:00 P.M. Monday.
An unresponsive adult male was found lying on the park trail near the Sheridan Road trail entrance. The male was pronounced dead at the scene, despite live saving efforts.
The identity of the male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
