WEST PEORIA (25News Now) – The Peoria County Coroner’s Office has released the names of a man and woman found dead Friday in a West Peoria apartment, but further examination is needed to determine what caused their deaths.
The pair, identified as 69-year-old Mark McMullen and 43-year-old Misha Hunn, were found dead about 1:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Pierson Avenue.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived, they found no signs of forced entry. Authorities said the bodies also showed no signs of trauma.
McMullen lived at the apartment where the bodies were found. Hunn is from Peoria, according to investigators.
Sheriff Chris Watkiins said McMullen and Hunn were “acquaintances.”
Coroner Jamie Harwood said autopsy findings are inconclusive, although toxicology tests are pending.
