PEORIA, Ill.–Peoria Police located a suspect wanted in connection of multiple armed robberies in Peoria.
Gentry Maxison, 30, was taken into custody without incident at Sheridan and Nebraska in Peoria at 3:50 p.m. Monday.
Maxison was arrested for 3 counts of Armed Robbery.
Police say that Maxison was a suspect in the armed robberies of three local dollar stores in Peoria.
Police reports indicate that the robberies occurred at the Dollar General 2010 W. Forrest Hill on February 2nd; Family Dollar 600 S. Western on February 4th; and a second time at the Dollar General on W. Forrest Hill on February 8th.
In all three incidents, the suspect entered the business armed with a knife and demanded money and then fled the area.
No injuries were reported during the incidents.
Maxison was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
