May 4 (Reuters) – At least 10 people have been taken to hospitals following a shooting at a party at a lake near Oklahoma City, the Associated Press reported on Monday, citing police.
Authorities received multiple reports of shots being fired at a gathering of young people near Arcadia Lake at about 9 p.m. on Sunday (0200 GMT on Monday), a police spokesperson for Edmond, Oklahoma, Emily Ward, told the AP.
Ward also told the news agency that in addition to the 10 people taken to hospitals, more may have driven themselves, adding that victims were in “various conditions.”
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
The Edmond Police Department did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
