WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – A Washington man is being held in the Woodford County Jail following allegations of sexual offenses against a minor.
The Woodford County State’s Attorney’s Office says Jason Rockhold was arrested Monday, following a two-week investigation that compiled and reviewed evidence after an initial disclosure.
Rockhold faces seven charges – including criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, two counts of possession of criminal sexual abuse material, and grooming.
On Wednesday, the Woodford County State’s Attorney filed a petition to deny pretrial release, detailing alleged actions Rockhold made toward a minor over a seven year period.
Rockhold’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 7 at 1:30 p.m.
