PEORIA, Ill. – A man has been arrested after allegedly kidnapping a woman from a Peoria home.
Peoria Police responded Wednesday night just before 11:00 P.M. to a home in the area of Linn and Richmond. Witnesses told police that 25-year-old Rodrick Adams allegedly entered the home with a firearm, and took a female victim from it against her will.
Officers eventually learned that Adams and the woman were at a home in the area of Linn and Republic. When police attempted to make contact with people inside the home, there was no response.
Peoria Police called in its SWAT Team and Criminal Investigations Division to assist, with Adams and the woman eventually coming out of the home.
Adams was arrested and charged with Aggravated Kidnapping with a Firearm, Armed Robbery, and Home Invasion. He was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
