PEORIA, Ill. – With road construction nearby and students showing up this weekend, there’ll likely be delays near Bradley University this week.
Campus Police Chief Brian Joschko says parking restrictions for campus Move-In begin on Thursday.
“Friday evening is when we will start to close down the vast majority of the parking lots around the campus area,” Joschko says.
The chief says to plan for heavy traffic and extra vehicles through the weekend.
“Specifically at the intersection of Main and University, but really from I-74 to Moss Avenue on University Street,” Joschko says.
Impact peaks Saturday morning. Starting at 6 a.m., expect lane closures on University near Main and Bradley.
Bradley Avenue also shifts to one-way traffic from University to Institute.
Joschko says for the most part, Move-In activity should wrap up by 5 p.m. Saturday.
