PEORIA, Ill. – A teenager has been the second person arrested for a shooting in Peoria’s East Bluff on Saturday night that injured two children.
Peoria Police says the 16-year-old male and family members arrived at the department Monday at around 5:00 P.M.
The 16-year-old was arrested for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of a Handgun Under 21 after an interview with detectives.
The shooting occurred in the area of Wisconsin and Maywood, with a ten-year-old and a three-year-old both suffering gunshot wounds to the leg.
18-year-old Marquise Paul was previously arrested in the case for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Obstructing/Resisting a Police Officer.
