PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley University is accepting applications for the fall 2027 semester of its fully online Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program.
The 48-credit-hour program is designed for working professionals and offers concentrations in Digital and Online Education and Higher Education Administration.
Bradley says students who take two courses during each fall, spring and summer semester could complete the program by May 2030. Courses are asynchronous, allowing students to complete coursework around their schedules.
Students enter the program in small groups and progress through the degree together, while also taking some courses with students from other cohorts and concentrations.
“Our students bring a wealth of experience to the program, and learning from one another is an important part of their doctoral journey,” program director Dr. Jana Hunzicker said. “This approach gives them a strong community of peers while creating opportunities to consider new perspectives and bring fresh ideas back to their workplaces.”
The Digital and Online Education concentration focuses on areas including online learning, instructional design and the use of technology in education and training.
The Higher Education Administration concentration focuses on leadership in areas such as student affairs, academic affairs and university operations.
Anyone with a master’s degree in any field is eligible to apply.
Bradley says a spring 2026 review found 92% of the program’s alumni had advanced in their careers, either through promotions or by moving into leadership positions at other institutions. The program was also included in The Princeton Review’s list of Best Online Doctor of Education Programs for 2026.
