PEORIA, Ill. – One of the teenagers to be tried as an adult for a December carjacking in Peoria has been indicted by a grand jury in connection to the case.
15-year-old Rodkell Grayer was indicted on Tuesday for Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking, Vehicular Hijacking, and Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Prosecutors previously alleged Grayer to have pulled a gun on the driver of a Hyundai Genesis parked at an ATM at the Northpoint Shopping Plaza, while a second teenager tried to pull the driver out of the vehicle.
The second teenager, 15-year-old Jaiden Dillard, was indicted last week on one count of Aggravated Vehicle Hijacking.
